Conference FACILITY

The Black Gold Motel Conference facility is purpose-built to cater for corporate and professional events large and small. It provides the opportunity to meet and progress your goals in privacy and comfort, and without interruption. We have a number of conference spaces available to meet your needs:

Function Room

The Function Room offers an intimate space with lots of natural light, ideal for small meetings, training, team building or presentations withexclusive access to the terrace for breaks in the fresh air. This room can also be divided into two sections with a foldable wall for break out sessions if required.

Crib Room

The Crib Room offers a larger space for those bigger conferences or meetings.

Lamp Room Lounge

The Lamp Room Lounge is our signature room with it’s large windows that overlook the front of the property. Directly outside there’s a terrace with tables and chairs, a perfect spot for participants to gather during breaks.

Black Gold Motel has expansive grounds including a large courtyard and lush green gardens and an adjoining grassed area. There are also great outdoor spaces where people can relax or take a walk.

As part of our corporate package we provide technical facilities to a high professional standard, and refreshments to support participants throughout the day. We can set up our large conference venue to suit all types of business events. Coupled with our widely admired Crib Room Restaurant and our comprehensive range of comfortable executive-style accommodation options, Black Gold Motel is also an ideal venue to extend your business event into a more meaningful team-affirming experience.

MEDIA & TECH RESOURCES​

All our Conference rooms are equipped with media and technical resources to suit a range of facilitator needs. They include a high quality overhead Projector with large screen or TV screen, guest WIFI internet access, HD multimedia facilities (HDMI), microphone, audio, surround sound system, large TV screen and DVD player, whiteboard and flip Chart. The event facilitator is able to connect using their own laptop.

Conference layout

There’s a range of options and conference styles to suit any corporate forum, board meeting, symposium, industry conference, brainstorming session, seminar, group presentation, training programme or team-building event.

If you wish, the Conference Room can be divided into two sections with a foldable wall. There’s good sound separation between the two spaces.

COST & OPTIONS

Our Conference Package is designed to ensure that facilitators and participants are well supported throughout the day so they can focus on the professional day without distractions.
All spaces have a room hire fee of $250 per day ($125 half day), this includes use of the media resources, whiteboard, flip chart and markers, water, notepads, pens, mints and on-site parking.
Conference food and beverage packages:

1. Gold Package – $20 per person per day

  • Morning Tea Including Juice
  • Lunch Including Juice
  • Afternoon Tea.
  • One beverage voucher per person *

2. Premium Gold Package – $25 per person per day

  • Morning Tea Including Juice
  • Lunch Including Juice
  • Afternoon Tea.
  • Two beverage vouchers per person *

3. Platinum Package – $30 per person per day

  • Morning Tea Including Juice
  • Lunch Including Juice
  • Afternoon Tea.
  • Three beverage vouchers per person *
*Beverages include barista coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice and soft drink (non-alcoholic). Any beverages in addition to this will need to be paid by the delegates or organiser.
Our chefs will serve the freshest of platters to high standards. All special dietary requirements will be met. Please note that only food from the Black Gold Motel can be consumed on the premises.
