Keep up the fantastic work, the community is behind you. 💪 Greenspot has reached two important milestones in its proposed repurposing of the Old Wallerawang Power Station and surrounding lands. Liberty Industrial has been selected as the principal contractor to undertake the significant decommissioning, demolition and rehabilitation project on the site of the old power station.
As an important first step in repurposing the broader site, Greenspot has commenced the approvals process for the construction and operation of a 500MW/1,000MWh battery energy storage system. Read more about the project here.
